Karina is a bilingual artist from Houston, TX, based in Los Angeles, CA, with a focus on creating music that brings people together through her unique style of Latin and pop music.

Growing up in a Panamanian- American household, she enjoyed listening to both genres- Latin and American pop as evidenced by her style and music. She has been awarded finalist for the Glenn Miller Scholarship , Grammy U Songwriter Showcase ,and USA Songwriting Competition. She also has been awarded Semi-Finalist for the International Songwriting Competition 2022 and Unsigned Only Competition

Karina has performed at various Industry Showcases such as at Balanced Breakfast Showcase at the Jackalope Austin 2023, NextFestLA at the LA County Fair and BMI Acoustic LA Showcase 2023. Also recnetly, she signed a 10 song music sync deal with ESPN Music.

As an artist and songwriter, she’s intimately involved in every step of the creative process both musically and lyrically.

Known by her powerful stage presence, beautiful vocal agility and tone, and feel good message, Karina is an artist to watch.

Her music has been featured on several Spotify Editorial Playlists including “New Music Friday Latin”,” Fresh Finds Latin”, and “Made”.

Recently, she performed the national anthem at the LA Clippers game at the Crypto Arena, performed on Mañana Latina from Vision Latina TV Network, and on the Wish Bus USA radio show in Hollywood.

Karina is a graduate of music at Belmont University in Nashville. While in Nashville, she had the opportunity perform in the Belmont Choir with Sheryl Crow, Cece Winams, Michael W. Smith, and The Tenors. She has performed at many venues such as The Hotel Cafe, LA County Fair, Soho House LA, The Mint LA, Hotel Ziggy, Adults Only Bar, SoFar Sounds, The Jackalope Austin, Opry Mills, Knucklehead Hollywood, BFE Rock Club, Pane e Vino Katy, Hasta La Pasta, and SkyBar at the Mondrian Hotel West Hollywood.
